KVR Coatings & Graco introduces the world's first fast-melt, on-board thermoplastic striping system, the patent pending ThermoLaser ProMelt. An industry first, the Graco ThermoLaser ProMelt System safely and easily melts 136kgs of thermoplastic material on board in less than one hour with a one-man operation. This not only increases productivity from one job per day to up to three, but also reduces time, labour.
"The ThermoLaser ProMelt System gives contractors like KVR Coatings what they've been asking for – a fast, safe, easier way to melt thermoplastic and increase productivity. We believe the ThermoLaser ProMelt System will become the new industry standard for thermoplastic line Marking."

The Graco ThermoLaser ProMelt System features the new SmartDie II system, the next generation in innovative steel design that enables use with or without heat for more flexibility in all weather conditions. Hardened steel dies with built-in mil thickness adjustment ensure durability. The SmartDie II system features no-spring heavy-duty construction that stays on the unit making it easier to clean without the need to remove it every time. This unique die system "floats" with the surface enabling accurate placement of thermoplastic and improved line quality. The no-tool die change-out system makes it fast and easy to switch line widths.

We today took delivery and installed a new upgraded stencil cutter. This will now allow us to cut stencils for floor markings, Numbers, Letters, Logos, quickly and at a reduced cost allowing us to pass on the savings to our customers.

Hi Mark,

Im pleased with the lads work, they delivered exactly what we asked of them despite some tight windows of opportunity for some of the areas. We had to protect one of the boxes from traffic with sheets of perspex on the Sunday morning and ill know the extent of the damage to this one later today. But this was our operational issue and we have to take responsibility if it is degraded as a result. The remainder of the lines we managed to protect until this morning and they all look good.

Have you ever wondered why the line marking comes up off concrete.

People think that the thermplastic they install on roads MUST be the best ??? yes on tarmac it is but on concrete ??? NO road grade paint is the best for this as thermoplastic is a hot product that heat fuses to tarmac and the tarmac softens allowing it to fuses together. on concrete it does not it just sits on the top waiting for a slight impact and then it debonds.

KVR Coatings can carry out both processes so we can specify the best products for your application.

This weather is not the best for installing lines BUT we have just bought a compact drier, wow its making life easy. we can now dry the surface where the line Markings are going in seconds.

At KVR Coatings we pride ourselves on quality installaions and the new compact drier is a big leap forward for line installation. we can now carry out all our Thermoplastic line marking and single pack road grade epoxy line markings as long as its dry weather. KVR Coatings also installs epoxy and polyuerthane flooring as has been doing for 25 years.
